Fitting my 70 kit this weekend, don't want to run autolube as I don't want the cylinder to go bang. Want to be rid of the oil pump too to save a bit of weight so really is it just a case of unbolting it or will it be more than just that? Read the question before but leaving it in empty and having a red light flashing is not my idea of a job completed (yes i know it is but still annoying)

Need I say what my bike is LMAO? vv

you need to carry opil anyway for mixing.. use a tap and pipe from the oil tank to a messuring jug at the petty station...

remember to shake the bike (yes people wil look at you funny)

LOL good point but then i'll need to isolate the oil tank, which ain't hard i'm guessing. As for my carb though will that be okay doing this, it's a PHVA Dell 17.5mm by the way?

if the oil pumps crank-driven it will lighten the load off that giving it a bit more umph

if you care that much about a tiny bit of weight just take a fat shit before going for a ride

It was a bit of sarcasm lmao, but to me it would be like changing all the lights in a house but leaving the old fittings if i were to leave the tank in, hence why i don't want to leave it in. However Minor's point makes sense saves carrying oil around with me in my seat wasting space

Ahaa was been sarcastic about the weight thing, but when you have half your underseat storage filled by a bottle of castrol, then Minors suggestion comes in handy, especially when you're carrying work overalls, a big fuck off chain and waterproofs...and some unfinished schoolwork from 6 months ago :p

ye, i dont just cut belts... you ether leave the oil drive plate in place or use an electric pump. i for one wouldent use premix on a wc without the electric pump

infact i wouldent use a mechanical pump full stop i dont think.. orible things

Leave the oil punp on and leave it the way it is.... Makes life easyier if your using the bike all the time... Just add a bit of 2t oil in your tank every time you brim it and shake like mad :) I used to do it on the aerox

im running an electric waterpump and premix, which takes a lot of load of the crank

oh and my shiney red flywheel is light as fuck now so that takes some load off

it'll spin now and pick up nice and quick, revving fullly.

    OIL PUMPS

MOST I`VE COME ACROSS(2T OIL PUMPS) ARE ADJUSTABLE AS THEY USE THE SAME ONE FOR 50-100CC ,MAY HAVE ANTI TAMPER DEVICE FITTED BUT THESE ARE 99% OF THE TIME EASY TO SPOT/GET OVER SO USE YOUR OIL PUMP.BOTTLE OF 2 T OIL WEIGHS MORE.WHO WANTS TO BE SHAKING THEIR SCOOT ABOUT AT GARAGE? LOOK LIKE A TWAT/FANTIC RIDER FROM PAST AND Y`ALL REMEMBER USE 97-98 RON PETROL NOT 95 LIKE MOST PEOPLE OK ON A CRAPPY 4 T 50 BUT 2T`S LUV SUPER UNLEADED
