How do you remove the forks from a gilera runner?
Trying to swap my shitty 50 forks for my 125 forks.
Haven't got a fucking clue how to so any help would be appreciated.
Also I couldn't get the front wheel off the 50 forks last time I tried???
I've taken the bars off but I would like to keep the front wheels on iff possible.
    Thanks. Conor

Really can't be arsed to type this out but I will anyway.

Front wheel off is a hell of a lot easier rather than leaning ya bike back really really far. Take it you got the top panels off and you can see the bearings.

When I did mine I used C spanners to get in the slots and loosen the head. There is two like this and a set of bearings, take pictures as you go along. Think you may be stuck until you can get some C spanners unless someone knows another way. It is literally loosen off then the forks go down, take em out n repeat backwards. I think the top one holds everything there and the bottom one loosens the hole lot for the forks to drop. Pics would be good or someone with more knowledge....I tried! lol

hammer and a chisel do the trick nicely,
there is actually a special tool for it from piaggio.

yh just stick a screwdriver in one of the slots and hammer it, should loosen it enough for you to get it off eaasily..
when i put runner forks on my zip i used molegrips to get them off

what a c-spanner? thats what you use for head race's lol. no need for a special tool a c-spanner is the right tool.

nah there 50 forks, which dont have the middle washer thingy, 125 forks do tho.
