Removing all electric starter parts from minarelli

Hi,

The electric starter is not used at all so I would like to remove all the parts from the bike.

The starter clutch rattles and does my head in. I'm not sure how i can get rid of the clutch parts as surely i would need some kind of spacer to fill the gap between the crank case seal and variator. Are these available anywhere?

If not does anybody have any good advice on how to disable these parts.
