From what I can see,on early inspection.my V/C only has a fill plug, not being a lubrication tech.,concerned about what grading may be in there at present and wondering if there could be adverse effects mixing gradings or?, plan is to take it for a run tommorow,monitor level when home,top up as neccesary (silkolene 80w90).
It should have 85W/90 non-Hypoid gear oil in there, Mark. You can mix synthetic and normal mineral oil grades with no problems.
Yeah, that's fine. I'm going to pick up some of the Rock Oil Scoot gear oil when I'm at that stage of my rebuild.
