Hey everyone, the forums have evolved! I love it I've been away for a long time due to work and family matters. Also I completely totaled my Jog 90 last year in an accident so it took me some time to get back to this PGO scooter. here are the videos of it back on it's feet parts used on the bike are: BGM evolution Wave disc BGM Evolution Clutchbell BGM Evolution CDI Chameleon Factory Dual Shock extender Doppler Air rear shock Doppler Reverse air filter Dr. Pulley 2.5g Rollers Hebo Manston AC 70 Cylinder HPI emergency circuit breaker Keisler M handlebar Keisler Engine extension kit Koso Black 2000rpm Honda Dio Torsion spring Koso Silver-blue brake triggers Malossi MHR Crankshaft Malossi Delta Clutch Malossi 60% Clutch springs Malossi X Kevlar Belt NGK Racing spark plug cord NGK Racing BR9HS spark plug Moto Tassinari Quick action throttle Polini Speed control Variator Stage-6 V-Force 3 reedblock Stage-6 Intake pipe Stock Generator TNT Racing Blue Boost bottle TNT Tuning Carbon T Vredestein Tornante Racing Tire 130 Yasuni C20 pipe I've only had time to ride it the last two days but so far so good, everything is in place, I just need some locktight for the hex bolts on the carter as the engine vibration is enough to loosen them. ** small update ** here's the first run on open street video of the scoot from driver's POV. I still need to tune a lot on the bike to get it back to normal, already though I'm happy the bike doesn't stutter or lose power when in WOT, but it should hit higher with clutch adjustments I'm sure.
the cylinder has been worked on, I'll post pics of the whole cylinder and the pipe tomorrow, I haven't had time to post the head mounted camera footage yet. My carb is running a little lean, I can slightly hear the engine wanting more gas after a couple full WOTs (no WOTs for longer than 15seconds though, I don't want to seize anything up in there till I sort out the jetting)
yeah I know, all Hebo cylinders are have lower RPM revs than their malossi/polini brothers, I've been Hebo for a very long time mainly due to their stability rates (from my personal experiences), I like the torque they put out. I can't find a better pipe than the C20, I've owned a C16 before but I sold it for the C20
here's the first run on the road with it, I took the video with one hand while driving with the other. I'm using this as reference to myself also as to which part needs to be tuned on the clutch.
Thanks xplicit vehicle I'm thinking of lightening the generator to make the accelerations more snappy, but I'm not close to a vice grip or a lathe machine right now. I'm neeting a slightly bigger Jet too, since today I can hear the engine has a little pause after full acceleration then back to idle then back to full accerelation, it doesn't have that common stuttering sound like a normal engine. I don't know how to say it but if I were to write up the words it would be like: right now it sounds like: bwa bwa bwa bwa <--good idle sound bwaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa <- good acceleration sound bwaaaaawaaaaawa <--paused idle sound waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa <- paused acceleration it should like: bwa bwa bwa bwa <- idle bwaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa <- acceleration dut dut dut dut <- back to idle bwbwaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa <- back to acceleration basically this means the engine after full acceleration it hasn't breathed any mixture back in, instead it's gasping to find the mixture but the jet isn't providing any.
Lol oliwest the Koso kick is the shortest I can find but the air filter still gets in the way, I can't find a straight intake manifold in the specs of the bike's admission. I guess I have to forge one but I'm short of aluminum right now. I'm looking for a used Polini ingnition kit or a Kitako ingition kit my bike is the same as a Honda DIO 50, ones that can be used everyday since this bike is an everyday ride.
Hey again everyone! I've been off the radar for more than 5 years! in those 5 years I've been working on the bike still, and a lot of things has changed since. I'm not resurrecting a dead thread I hope, if so I'll open a new one. Will post pics up by this weekend here, along with some new videos of the bike. Cheers
