    yoo,
im swapping my 172 kit over to my new disc engine, and i wanted to know if because i have a billet head its any different to putting on a normal kit, its a kb racing one.. it has 2 base gaskets one red and one blue so im a bit confused now because i know that is something to do with squish :( :( which i've never done before so it will need to be set, and also should i need to use a torque wrench?

thanks in advance 4 any help

edit: had the barrel off and it seems to be ported, mildly, but still ported :pimp: :w00t: and VERY fresh and scratch free

edit again: crank on the new engine seems much stiffer that old one, when i got it there was some water in it but i emptied it out and dryed it all, should i 2stroke up the crank and leave it for a few days? or isit safe to use wd40?

if the cranks tight rebuild it, or your scratch free ported barrel wont last 5 mins

squish is the distance from the piston to the outer ring of the head.. poke some solder in there.. messure it, ajust accordingly

deffo rebuild time.. get a pan of oil on the go, warm it up (not too hot mind) then slosh it about the place befor you try strip it.. verniers can eb bought from anywhere really altho maplin are usually really cheap for em (like a tenner) to halfords 20 quid for the same thing (usually on sale somwhere tho so shop about)

i just poured 2stroke into the crank and been turning it and its smooth now like the old one but i dont really trust it, i just dont see me being able to split it, EVER LOL
