Yesterday, i went out in my garage to drive my Yamaha BWS 1995 and noticed that the rear wheel was very hard to move, as if the breaks where all the way in(i have bad drum breaks that makes the wheel still movable with full force on rear break). I didnt really think much of it. I went to a gas station to get fuel, and on the way back, i noticed that as soon as i let go of the throttle for a second, it started to die out. I kept WOT to keep it alive until i got home, but i did notice that it really wanted to die out. When i came home, i parked it inside of my garage and i noticed that the stuck rear wheel problem had gotten worse. It was even more stuck than before. I went inside and came out to the garage a few hours later and tried to start the scooter again, but there was no way it wanted to start. Tried cleaning the carb and i got it running for half a second and then no more luck. Could this be a clutch problem maybe? I saw somewhere that a guy had a stuck rear wheel, and people suggested he should check his cvt clutch. Anyways, thanks for any input. I really have no clue.
You have to take the wheel off and brake shoes off, then pull the spindle out, rub it with sand paper grease it and put it all together
Thanks for the input scuba I checked the brakes and the clutch today, aswell as i changed the sparkplug which made it start again. It was appearently the clutch that had gotten unscrewed under the clutchbell. Probably not tighened enough by the guy i bought it from, as he changed torque spring and springs on it. Its is now running excellent with no stuck rear wheel
