whip wheel off quickly, and clean out drum, its most likely build up of dust thats making it squeak.

while you've got it apart you may aswell check the wear on the shoes

ah right ok, so the squeeks are caused by build of brake dust then?so could i jsut remove it by air pressure machine i got at home?

NOOOOO!!! never used compressed air on brake dust, just get a wet/ damp rag to wipe it all away, and yes squeaking is caused by dust build up, but as i sed check for wear and glazing while your doing that, and if youve got an grease just grease the cam on the pads

brake dust is carcnagenic (causes cancer), only use compressed air if you are wearing a dust mask.

best bet is a bit of petrol, you can blow the dust out of the drum, just make sure no one is about because its nasty stuff.

not sure about the drum type but with the discs I copper grease the backs of the clutch pads, it stops the squeeling noise

just for god sake dont get it on the frictional surface itself

not sure about shoes you might be able to
