Gents (and Ladies) First time on the forum but racking my brain on a purchase I need to make and thought some voices could help me decide. My babysitter totaled my Peugeot Elystar in an accident and so I have to replace it. I'm in Berlin, so two choices I have are an Elystar 125cc 2002 with 20K km. It has ABS, hot grips, and is in impeccable condition - cosmetically. Price is €750. The other is a 2013 Citystar 125cc with 5K km. Price is €1400. Condition is pristine. My gut is to get the Elystar with the 20k since I ride about 1K a year around Berlin running errands...I have a motorcycle for any out-of-city touring. However, I'm only concerned about the 20K and how long these Elystars last. Sadly, the Elystar in question has records of general replacements of parts, but no service records as the previous owner was elderly and passed away. The citystar has all the records. Both bikes are TUV approved - which is basically the German regulation system you have to check your motor vehicles with every two years to make sure they're in safe working order. Really appreciate any advice.
