    Hi guys,
I put a 28mm PWK on my Runner 180. No other mods really on this bike. Rigged it up to the std airbox with the use of flexible high temp ducting. Ended up using a 105 main and 32 pilot. Advanced the oil pump. Had a couple of mates ride it and they reckon it is running well - not rich or lean although I notice it does smell a little different after a ride. Plug looks good. It goes a fair bit faster than std and of course you expect a bigger carby will use more fuel. I'm not flogging the hell out of it though as this bike is my commuter. Only thing is it is using TWICE as much fuel as the 20.5 dellorto std carb. I used to get 200km from a tank. Now can only get 100km. That seems pretty dramatic to me. Have others found the same?

I used to have an fxr 180 and when I put a 25mm on in comparison the fuel consumption was grim! But the mid range power it gained was sweet! It depends on what you want to use it for?
