decided to get my generic cracker road-worthy. rings are on their way out so ordered this - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/150939337057?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649 now i know it's mild port timings and polish brand will probably make it wank, but my insurance and cbt runs out in january so it's just gonna be bolted on and ragged around for winter. next on the list is a few jets, now i can get em off ebay for pretty expensive in packs of 12, but if i can find out what type of jet it is then surely i can get em off pedparts or such. so does anyone know what type jet it is and what the standard size is? its a minarelli horizontal, same as aerox engine. according to ebay its a dellorto m6 jet, just dont know what size. cheers lads, will make a project when everything arrives.
Haha i cant wait to get it whacked on, might even try some port work, engineering dep at school said they will do it for me if i give them measurements, lol
yea thats what im doing, raise and smooth the exaust port and round off any square edges. hopefully my rox will be proping up on its hind legs on demand!
if i remember i will have a look at autodata at work tomorrow and find out what your main jet size should be, im guessing its around 60, thats just a guess tho
haha yeah man, if i were you i'd get one of them kits ordered now while they're on sale, mine arrives tomorrow, gonna take it straight to sixth form and dremel it in my frees!! hahahahaha! should make some decent power i hope, and if it seizes, im only 30 quid down! thanks buddy! much appreciated!
http://www.startright.co.uk/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=786_823 according to this its 47.5? so 0.475? what do you lads think?

ordered it last night, says it should be here next thursday. i even got an email from the seller saying i need to file the ports and clean any swarf out
aaaahh, sweet. might practice on the 50 cylinder before i attempt any handwork on this, raise exhaust port, match it to stub, just do what i can for now see how it looks
