right.... a typh loom has 2 conecters that go into the clocks one has 5 pin conector the other is a 4 pin one .... on the runner clocks it has a 5 pin conecter and a 8 pin one.... the 4 pin one plugs straight in.... makes the petrol work and makes 1 of the indys lights work... (the right light) this is because the typh clocks has 1 indy light and the runner has 2.... since its the typh loom only one is flashing.... how would i make it so....
    A. both flash at the same time...
    or
    B. the left flashes with the left indy and the right with the right indy?

next bit.... the oil light dont work.... why is this? since it dont work on the typh clocks (cause its been unplugged) yet it dont work on the runner clocks??
and the mian beam light dont work which im guessing is on the other conector bit? and a runner on the clocks has a normal beam light and a mian beam light? anyone know how to get these working? basicly i need a runner conecter bit for the clocks... where would i have to put the typh wires into the runner conector bit to get this all working???
i know its a long shot but i duno if anyone has done this before??

    last bit is the speedo....
the pin that goes into the speedo is that the same on all cables?sum are plug ins (the typh) and sum are screw ons (the runner) but could a bodge job it into the speedo but just putting the pin in there and holding it into place sum how?or... would i have to use a runner cable and speedo drive? could i fit a runner speedo drive onto where the typh speedo drive is? if i did and it worked would it over read/ overead?

thanks for reading and thanks even more if you can help :)

but its a typhoon 125? so they would be useless, no?

get me the loom diagrams and i'll work out where to plug what on the clocks, and im unsure about the runner speedo drive, but maybe this is a hint to get runner forks and front wheel???

why oh why do people continue to do this mod? there SO shit on a typh/nrg... too high, dont handel properly, stand dont work, steering lock wont work unless the stems chopped, footboard ends up 16" odd away from the ground, pointless.

the wheel and speedo drive off an skp is what your after, same as the new shape typh wheels and takes the diff speedo drive for the runne/nrg clocks.. runner clocks are a little harder.. why you fitting them? for a proper throttle and front brake res?

fitting them for a few reasons...
    1. so i can get koso clocks (they look nice and have a rev counter)
    2. for the new style switchs cause the old style ones are gay on the typh
    3. to put a small screen on the front panel
and mabe change the whole throttle system because mine is pissing me of!!!

they dont make typhoon carb to spliter cables anymore :rtfm: so ive tryed a runner 125 (didnt fit but only tryed for a few mins) and then tryed an sr one and it works fine... its just stiff as fuck.... :msn1: i dont know what to do...
minor advice please on helping me with this throttle problem... should i change the whole set up... as in runner throttle... runner splitter and all 3 runner cables? or the sr splitter?

use the full runner system with the top cable (throttle to splitter) off an nrg as its longer, then find yourself a typh 50 front brake lever.. the newer type as the throttle is part of the brake on the old type. the clocks are gonna be a pain whatever way you look at it. just a case of putting the two diagrams side by side and working out what goes where to power what. colour conversions make things easier but theres more cables on a runner clock for temp sensor and directional indicators. obv the temp is useless, the two indi/s will flash at the same and the batt cable from the typh will have to be blanked off. the indi lights shouldent be a prob with the koso clocks tho as if i remember correctly theres only one light on them. have fun figuring the wiring out tho as im not gonna tell ya :D you wanted to do the conversion :p

EDIT if yours is the round type switch plug connectors i can cut some up and send you square ones with the correct colouring for the nrg/runner switches. makes it easier. will cost ya tho :p

should just make up a mini loom conversion kit for this job but i doubt they would eb in that great demand and making one or two would not be cost effective.

ok lol ermmm the clocks are going to be gay going to start as mabe 2mo :msn1: if you have done it tho help would be nice  and i got sum new style square switchs already  already fitted the indys and horn switch :p ohh u say use a whole runner system... are the 50 and 125 systems the same?

last question minor... im using a typh spliter to oil... and sr spliter to carb... if the sr one is abit longer would thta mean the oil cable wont work proper?

ohh and i swear the kosos have 2 indy lights same as a runner on the clocks so gota figure out how to make them both flash at the same time, help would be great since your a good electric person

them both flashing is illegal so you need to remove the arrow from one and use that for both (wire left and right together) just get a battery and earth the black cable, then go onto each cable and see what lights up. do this with clocks you dont wanna keep and use a LOW voltage batt.. an aa will start the lights no prob, repeat on the typh clocks and cross referance the colours. blank off anything not needed

heres an idea... give up and fit the clocks you should have on there. cut a hole for the brake rez if you wanna use one. dont tacle somthing you dont understand hoping youl figure it out, especially with wiring.
