Ratty to Minty/125 to 172 Update 14/05/10

Went to Collect it on Sunday 24th, I aint had a Bike in over 2yrs now so im glad 2 finally have 1 to work on, Just afew pics wen i got it

Had Jefro round Thursday helpin my out on it, Had it Started the Once, I think it needs 2 b re-jetted, its has a 88Jet in it but gonna try summore jets, it also need a Air Filter, New Spark Plug, New Manifold and afew lil bits

This is the Carb as it stands now

Started Cleaning up the Tranny case 2day, spend bout 1hour on it then got bored :rofl:

I also checked out wot renthals look and feel like on a runner and it looks like im gonna go down the road of the renthals

Just a lil Vid of me on the Runner, Finally got it start and running but still need afew lil bits sorting out

Spent a lil time on it 2day, got the Vac pipe sorted and the Jetting, Got a 98 Jet in it atm but im think it might need 2 b dropped 2 95.

FINALLY!!!!!!!! I Now have my project up and running again, went and brought afew lil goodies for myself on monday, will b having them fitted on Friday.

An hour on the tranny case :O was you using a tooth brush ??

I use a plug in the wall drill, and a polishing kit with all the grits alu and autosol from http://www.uk-polishing kits.co.uk..

I get mine done in 40 mins mirror look... I spent 40 pound on the kit, id recomend it if your polishing anything...

I woz just being lazy :rofl: i woz more intrested in gettin the renthals on lol

I wud check out that site but it dont seem 2 b workin, evan wen i get rid of the space lol

Exactly. I'm so envious of it because I'd love to find a 180 like that and have a before and after.

Everybody has there own opinions :tup: And many have diffrent qualities like " I Can " get a tranny case with a mirror finish done within 40 - 60 mins... Should of said first (40-60) mins but yeah.. But only with the equipment i use... Cant do it anymore doe my mops are worn and got no liquids.

I thought it was :rofl: ....thing is it started up. There is 2 overflows then, but couldn't see a vacuum

yeah their both overflows jeff, im sure if it doesnt have a vaccum then you have to put

this in your petrol pipe ? if im right

surely you could T off the vacuum for the pump and put the both onto the engine case (that spigot next to reeds)?

thats the same way i had my carb, some mornings i would have to pull the pipe off thats on the side (one that moves around) and suck it to get the fuel flowing. weird lol

OK, So i figure, the way my carb is set up, thats the wrong way :rofl:

So can any1 tell wot is the write way is then plz :tup:
