Random Drug Tests...

Right, i don't do any drugs but a few of my work mates got suspended due to a random drug test today.

They tested positive for cocaine and cannabis was wondering if anybody has had this at work and had any way to like get a false reading? They was well strict as to who could obviously go near you when you was about to take the piss test but still.


I heard broad beans are supposed to show up positive too was wondering if any others realy.

I drive fork lifts all day, so they are pretty strict at the tests and so forth and h&s is quite strict now days at our work..

lol well cannabis can still be tested and found in your body like 3 weeks after its consumed and i think cokes even longer

.........but aparently crack only lasts a few days so tell your mates to start smoking it if they don't wana get caught

aparently its what happened in my uncles prison, a few went in and used to smoke cannabis then came out smoking crack, cos there was less risk of getting caught......

 

I believe cocaine takes up/around 3 days to be flushed from the system depending on how much you've taken.

 

yeah dont think it is long.

my boy drank loads of water to avoid his one coming up in his army check-up and he passed it even tho he smoked 3 blunts with me a week before.

 

how random was the test? i mean were you quing next to the lady from the office , maybe a foreman or gaffer? or were you all 16 to 24 yearolds

 

its mainly tested where h+s is a BIG issue and by this I mean that places of work that involve heavy goods vehicles and jobs that require a bit of good eye contact otherwise someone will die.

(where dan works is a good example 1 slip of the drivers concerntration could result in a major accident like e.g death

and also building sites are commonly done)

my dad is a heavy planter fitter and works on like vehicles up to like 100 tons plus (mainly on the catterpillars and volvos) if you removing a engine that takes up a large amount of that weight then you really need to make sure you know what your doing. theyre strict as fuck in some sites he works on so obviously drugs testing comes free of charge

but yeah as I say its common in more labour intensive jobs where health and safety is a big big issue.. so if you work a couple of evenings in a department store a week you can toke as much spliffs as you like for now (phew... i heard u say!..)

 

Are the tests carried out independantly?
or are they done by the company/firm?

 

when i was in school and they started random drug testing, we all drank fuck loads of water, a couple of boys didnt as they thought it was stupid and felt the need to prove something, 1 of there mums didnt give confirmation so he didnt have to take it the other took it and failed, the ones that drunk lots of water passed, also ive heard sleeping in bin bags sweats it out but its not something id like to do.
