raises the centre of gravity and moves the wheels closer together.. means turn in speed is reduced, corner stability is affected, the forks are at a steeper angle so its twitchy and can wobble/tankslap more easily and you cant get as low in bends. also traction breaks alot sooner. wheelys are also pritty interesting once fitted. look nice tho only pro really
ye well i raised mine up last night about an inch tad more maybe looks loads better and makes alot more possibilities im going to replace the chunk of metal i used with a longer shocker as soon as i find one now i just need to make it so that the stand will work again as it doesnt touch the floor can i jus weld some bits to it
yea thatl weork fine... have to do it when you fit longer forks on scooters too. if its a piaggio/gilera the longest shock you can get is an ice wich REALLY does jack the rear up nice
how many times have you rode a damp bog roll? haha :w00t: end of the day the scooter manufacturers design a scoot, fuck about loads with the chassis design etc trying to make it handle as good as it can your basically fucking that up :wtf: thazz my theory anyways... sam
yer but then again you could say, scooter manufactures make say the bike look best as pissoble and they stil look shit and people change the pannels spray em ect
as it puts the wheel closer. easier, but because its higher. harder. Harder overall. Silly mod for a road bike
i raised the back end of my zip 183 and it felt like it was handling better , but made it harder to wheely
mine was better once i jacked it up. probably because im heavy and the jack up compensated for the extra weight
