Well fitted a new doppler pipe today and fancyed a blat so uyndercover of darkness popped down the road for sneaky road test,not road leagal ya see. And it pulled really well the lost all drive this happend befroe i got the race ped to the last owner?? weird revs just fine but no drive yes has new kevlar belt/ variator and clutch/springs ect. aint had time to look yet but has anyone had this before?? I will pull it apart in the am after work tonite.Is this common on speedfigths ta fula.
up jet yup its got a 24 mm carb off rd 125 with 130 main so not that!! plugs fine colour too.its the drive ive lost not power, its been well set up! maybe just coinciedence with not drive to wheel was pulling nice too odd thing these scoots.
Your gonna have to get that tranny case off...its gotta be transmission related!! But i think you already suspected that
twas interesting Well folks twas a good find but this has happned before we had the ped, the gear up kit was fitted by a loon who was shall we say ham fisted the output shaft was ground down an the strait cut gears bodged on no even all way on either??? So after all me tuning and new pipe this week she gave way and slipped round an round hence no drive!!! Not good i know but am welding it on tonite as its only a race ped ain,t got top be pretty has it!!! :wtf: so solve yet another prob. just put it together in am, test ride sorted. sweet.
gear kit If its strait cut gear up i will have it rather than a stk one!! My excisting output shaft is buggerd really so could do with a spare kit how much do you want for it fella. cheers Fula.
it looks like a straight cut one. i brought it and it said it was a gear up kit for a 100 speedy but never got a chance to fit it so its still new in the box. cost me a bit as well
its an bemsee race 3 hr endurance race. Annual job jan end of usually 45 bikes 3 per bike 3 hours endurance rare hell off alot of fun for not soooo much cash . imp: It gets us through the winter non race seaon kinda blow the cob webs out job.@ lydden hill kent. superb.
