    well since my bikes being a certified twat and refusing to work properly, me and dad have decided to start replacing things that might be the culprit with with better parts.
    so ive seen this on pedparts - http://www.pedparts.co.uk/product/802/motoforce-racing-ignition-coil
    are they actually anygood?
    i dont want to buy it to find out i need other parts to make it work properly (like i did with that polish kit)

    From what i understand of racing coil packs;
    The standard coil pack is restricted and that would only de-restric it as far as i know.
    Motorforce is kind of cheap so dont expect top notch performance.
    What is wrong with the bike that you have got?

    major problem with it then lol;
    From what i understand its completely standard now?
    All you changed was the 50cc to 70cc then back to the 50cc?
    Was it a 70cc replica kind of thing, more power than normal 70cc kits?
    Check that your fuel tap isnt stuck on open, thats what kept fludding my ZIP when i had it.
    Might be worth an engine rebuild, making sure seals are fine, bearing are kooshty, piston rings are fine, using the correct sparkplug? might be fuel starvation depending on what jet you have.

    yea it worked perfrectly as a 50, tried a 70 and it flopped it big style, put the 50 back on and its being abit of a twat at times. how do i go about checking the fuel tap? this vacuum fed system mindfucks me

    If it was a pro 70cc kits that are going around can put too much strain on normal crankshafts.

    I think this is how you can tell;
    Make sure that that ignition is off on the scooter.
    Pull the fuel line off from the carb and if its a constant flow coming out the fuel pipe, i think that means that the fuel tap is stuck on open.

    Reason i knew that mine was broken was because i had fuel leaking out my carb and out the air filter, but according to google as well, if fuels coming out when engine is off then its faulty.

    ahh right, i dont think its stuck open because it will happily tick over all day, it just randomly cuts out when your riding

    You dont have a performance air filter or anything like that? you have a standard air filter correct?
    What exhaust have you got?

    Standard airbox is the reason why the 70cc wudnt work correctly.
    I had a 70cc pm alum kit and it wudnt start with a standard air filter soon as i put a polini air filter on it, boom started then didnt run right due to jet size, done that worked fine.

    You havent got dodgy fuel in it? Rare case but can happen.

    It really does sound like fuel starvation or fuel flooding.
    When you put the 50cc bore back on, did you do it correctly?
    Oiling the bore before putting it on, didnt over tighten the head bolts? You have all the bolts not leaving 1 out?

    Did you adjust the jets back when you put the 50 cc bore back on?

    re assemble everything to make sure that you have put everything on properly. there could be an air leak somewhere maybe on the manifold area or even the cylinder gasket. if you want to check the ignition is fine then simply remove the spark plug and put it in the HT lead and earth it then run it.. if u see a constant spark then u know that its fine. if you still suspect its an ignition problem trace the wiring loom to make sure no wires are touching anything

    sounds like a loose earth wire to me..... did you disturb, unplug or undo any of the loom and wireing when putting your 50 kit back on?

    check you don't have any loose connections, this could be causing your bike to cut out when it wants.

    errm, i shouldnt of done but ill check it.

    is it also possible that water has got in to the stator thing and is messing it up?
