Hello i'm thinking about buying a race 50 as my standard 50 has "blown up" i was thinking of buying a malossi one. are the malossi race 50s any good? or can you get a better race 50 for around the same price?
    p.s i dont want to buy a 70s kit.
    cheers

having a tuned 50cc cylinder is just as illegal as having a 70 kit

mayaswell just got for the 70, i know people always say this when people dont want a 70 kit, but it really is the basic of 2 stroke tuning

police arnt going to like you anymore if they find out youve got a malossi 50 kit as opposed to a 70 ;)

A sports 70 kit would be as reliable as the std 50 one if you buy a reputable brand like polini/malossi...

The race 50 kits would have less torque then a 70 kit...and be less reliable too,
as they make their extra power by haveing more aggressive porting...

which means more heat, more revs and more chance of failure...

my only question is...why why why not buy a 70 kit :msn1:

my mate had a nitrous injected RD125 kicking 105bhp, that was fine, for about 3 days.

bigger cc is better than anything for tuning.

fact is a 50 making the same power asd any 70 will obviously have a heavily reduced lifespan.. the 50 race kits have verry harsh port timings to get the power hence dont last long.. waste of time unless your in a 50cc limited racing class
