26mm carb, 125cc bike, no vacuum taps or petcocks . Question: I have a vacuum line which connects the carb directly to the intake manifold spiggot? Why might this be? what does it do? Can I / should I disconnect and block off? Thanks

I for one don't understand what your saying or mean ? What bike? If you have a simple petrol feed to the carb, then block off all take-off pipes on the inlet manifold.

The vacuum from the inlet manifold usually has a pipe connected to run fuel pumps, pair valves etc.
The vacuum line from the carb usually runs to the fuel tap or petcock etc.
I have no requirement for vacuum operated bits as my fuel tap is gravity fed, I have no pair valve.
For some reason this bike had a pipe connecting the carb vacuum spiggot directly to the manifold vacuum spigot instead of blanking both off.
Is this a good thing, a bad thing or does it not matter. I’ve been having jetting issues and I didn’t know if this may have an effect.
    Thanks
