quick question about my crank / bearings

right then iv just ordered another 70 kit for my slider
and iv been thinking the scooter is 7 years old and according the the clock when i got it it had 5000 miles on it
iv put another 1000 on it
i assume that the crank and bearing are going to be the originals so is it worth doing a full strip and replacing the crank bearings and big end bearing if thats possible lol
there no play in the crank at all but i dont want the bearings to go after iv just put the bore kit on
also im sure about the milage under the plastics its all pretty much mint i think its been off the road for along time its had 4 owners and the last one got side swiped by a car and got pretty mashed up then it had been sat in a garage for about a year all smashed so i dunno could be right

personally i would replace them but it's up to you, the bike should last a good 5000 without much problem so long as you use good oil and warm it up gently, this is all assuming there is no big-end/mains play at the moment.

 

yes i use good oil and htere is no big end play at all
checked when i was in there last week
i might leave it for a while then cos i want to put the gear up kit in later ill do it then
