Erm. Last time i checked going by year isn't always the best idea. Some get registered late and whatnot.
looking at silly money for those mate, best bet is somone breaking a runner you need wheel, disc, caliper, hose and master cylinder, then you need the mount drilling and tapping.
to be honest i prefer my drum on the back, it's got enough power to lock the back wheel with one finger, thats all you need, and its as good as maintainance free, the shoes are 10 years old and still got 3/4 of the meat they started with and you dont have problems with them seizing. one thing that i do find is if the bike has been left a few days, rust collects on the inside and the first 100yards the back brake is over sharp.
mm, sounds good, so what bits do i need to set up a drum brake, cos i have only ever had disks lol so bear with me and write down what bits i need cheers mate
nope, you will need a rear brake cable, and a lever assembly as they arent hydraulic. what are you fitting the motor to?
peugeot speedfight 100, got adaptor kit for the engine. and on my speedy i have hoses on already, as i have a disk on both brakes
yeah, its not an easy thing to bleed though, might be worth getting a caliper, hub, disc, and wheel then. why put a 125 motor in a peugeot though, its suicidal, surely its cheaper just to wait until you can buy a 125.
i already have a 125, a 3 week old honda CBR125, this is just a project , dont worry its gonna have new forks..
ah fair enough. as long as you do it properly it should be ok, no stickyback plastic and bluetack here's one i made earlier.... stick it in projects when you get going with it.
