Right ive just been thinking, is it possible for some MiniMoto and Performance Scooter parts to be interchangable, like could the carbs fit on 1 another stuff like that......How different are MiniMoto Engines to Scooter Engines?? Cheers, as always any help is greatly greatly appriciated!!
the terms "minimoto engine" and "scooter engine" are far too vague, there are lots of different types of each, but yes i have seen some people use a few parts from piaggio engines on their minimoto or even just stick the whole lump on a minimoto, carbs are interchangable as far as im aware as well, obviously depends on whether its male or female and whether it has auto/manual choke etc
about 20cc different. in theory you can put carbs from scooters onto minimotos but in practice, usually they are a different fitting and require some modding to fit them. you are more likely to get parts from a chainsaw or strimr to fit.
erm, well there are mini moto's and midi moto's, mini moto's use a 47cc bluebird replica air cooled engine as seen in the baby blata's, then midi's use a mitubishi brush cutter replica engine that comes in various cc's i reckon a carb could be modded to fit, an exhaust expansion chamber would probably be too big... no bore kits etc would fit for shit interesting thing the 2 main mini moto makes are blata and yep... polini ask minor as hes into mini motos i think... so if anyones tried this shit he has lol sam
