so i went to the local bike shop to ask em about my new quad lights and fitting them to my runner 125vx they said its a tricky job to fit em, and they wont be bright and that they won't pass an MOT. i swear thats the first time ive heard this? http://www.donotlink-pedstop.co.uk/p/GI ... H-884.aspx
Re: Quad lights can't pass MOT they wont pass moy but... they arnt tricky to fit..... and they are just as bright if not brighter then the standard light..... even tho standard lights u can adjust them so i duno how bright they go but with my quad lights on a few cars was telling me they are to bright lol
is there a way i can fit them so i can take em off when MOT comes cos apparently you gotta solder them :wtf: and thnx for the info skater
Quad lights are brighter imo. mine are anyway. They won't pass mot. Do what i did. I wired the quad lights into a big black splitter box. Then ran them off using the red clipclamp things lol. So i can unwire them. And then plug my standard ones back in. In fact i can plug my standard ones in still *i'll get a pic*
i dont understand.... mine fitted piss easy and i could take them of and re fit standard lights in a matter of 2 mins.... but yeh i think they are brighter as well, good luck with them
thnx im looking to do it this week or next ciarans helped me with some diagrams im still confused about the black splitter box and where i get this from...
there easy enough to do on a runner you have a brown wire and a purple wire cna remeber which is high or low beam jsut try and error, but all i did was connect 1 wire from each bulb to the black which is earth then the two big buld to the high beam once i worked out what one it is from my original headlights, then connect the other two lives from the smaller bulbs to the low beam that way you have high beam, low beam and flash which is all lights on, hope this helps.....
