...you don't expect to see this do ya (Count how many cracks) I was at Uni at the time, had to ride home without using front brake, just engine braking and using my non-existant rear brake  It must of happened on my way as they were fine the last time I used the bike and it's not like I've been doing any harsh braking lately Ordered new disks, £150, pads £33. Needed a revamp, they were 18 years old
quite common actually, bEN's rear disc went on his R6, i've had a couple crack on scooters and mopeds and i had one go on my RD
i'm sorry but i laughed when i see the pic. i had a minor hairline crack on the disc of my old sr, was still ridding and using the front brake for about 30 miles till a new one come through. tbh i didn't feel anything at all, but i ain't silly and know the possible consequences
the possible consequences are death, if the disc shatters half way out of a junction you're screwed, front-end locks, fucks the disc mounts on the wheel, fucks the caliper and possibly mounts then dumps you on the road in front of a bus. Keep an eye on your discs people!!
Yeah wobbly, spoke 2 my local mechanic and he said it's common on the older bikes just wear and tear. Fooking shocking though. Mick, I looked at it then was like fucccck..I'd be laughing too after knowing they got home alright  But yeah, new ones are in, gonna put them on and then give it a real good clean, I'll get before and after pics
Ciaran, not sure mate, I'll find out. Kyle, it wern't from putting the disk lock on and moving it, it was whilst I was just about to put my disk lock on
kid who owned my rox before me rode off with a disk lock on and it snapped and shot up through the bottom of the seat.
and i mean like trying to ride off etc? and you nearly go over the handle bars . Dec did he put it on the front or back :O how did it end up thru the seat ?
yea was on the back, said there was an almighty bang, didnt no what it was and opened the seat to find a fat hole and a disk lock in there lol noob
