    Hi there,

Got a problem with my scoot,

This morning on my way to college it was fine.
When I left for college it was ok, then I pulled up to some traffic lights and my throttle twist went funny for a second felt like it went slack.

But then taught again, now from here my scooter would be really slow pulling away and continue slow until 20mph after 20 it would be alright it sounded really flat and slow.

I've got a few problems in mind

    Clutch gone?
    Drive belt stretched badly
    Rollers?

The rollers have recently been done so I could maybe rule that out.
Clutch and belt may be likelly?

    Anything else?

I'm reluctant to ride it because It's dangerously slow out of junctions!

wont be the clutch then as if it was slipping it would rev higher than normal so check the belt

theres a bit of white thread coming off belt and noticed oil ontop of cvt case so gonna get some brake cleaner clean it up and get a belt! will replace asap with the white thread I can see! looks old and starting to go shiny so that indicates belt to me!

    thanks Lee!

Well going to order the new belt tomorrow, just a standard one not splashing out on expensive bits when I plan on getting rid of next month!

I'm thinking Theres oil managed to get onto the belt etc from where it's leaved out my seat bucket as theres oil all over the frame etc! my bad!

so just going to get some brake cleaner from halfords and give it a good spray and clean and chuck the new belt on, Should I expect similar symptoms until the belt is ran in?

    cheers

I'd check the rollers if they were the most recent thing to have been changed. You may have a faulty one?
