i send a paintball mask in the post this week and standard postage cost me £10, that's the post office's flat rate for a parcel as big as a football. this morning the lovely ppl at scooter center deliver my parcel that cost €5(£3.95) that's there flat fate for any parcel to UK. Now lest remember my parel was the size of a foot ball and cost £10. This is the parcel i got delivered for £3.95 Why do we in the UK get mugged off are ever turn. pecause of the post office it £6.95 to have roller delivered from a UK shop
Sorry I misunderstood then. Are you a scooter shop or did you want low cost postage? I use them all the time for my business as well as personal with hardly issues. I've even had parcels received next day but usually 3 days.
no i was just moaning about how if we want a good service in the UK we have to bend over. but all the parcels you see was to my door in 2 working days from Germany for £3.95. Hermes take 5 day's+ and are very bad. i sent a £2000 pc that i sold(ebay) with them and the buyer walked into there garden as the Hermes driver was putting it behind there bin in the rain.....
Mail order sellers usually have the resources to subsidise the postage to you or are often contracts with the couriers depending how much business they do.
Like I said I rate my Hermes and all my parcels have been recieved in 3 days. Last year I used them over 200 times and they lost one parcel and refunded me really quickly.
