project SR 125

hears my aprilia SR 125 and what i have done so far.....




after getting all the old vinyl off and smoothing out the scraches i sprayed it up matt balck and fluorescent orange and made a new aprilia logo with matching orange out line for the back....




about to spray the exhurst black and add abit more orange to the bars and will be spraying the rear mud gard rather orange or black soon to. new carbon fiber f1 mirrors and small numberplate ordered n on the way will get pics up when done more.

 

Like the paint and the new aprilia sticker ! Really cool!

Why is that?

 

They the legal size And been seen by old bill many times. Want to get a hard L plate for the back and have it on a side bracket

 

Had a Honda vision with L's like it n that never got stoped to. Dunno yet will Prob end up going all out on it lol. It's fast enough at the mo tho

where did you get the small plate from mate?

 

Any plans on getting the wheels sprayed? Ped is nice but the blue wheels... hmmm... not sure!

as for the wheels i am going to spray them but dunno what color thinking maybe orange what ya think?

 

the project is getting along nicely mate! really great job!!! but that L signs i see everyone has in these forums...are baaaaaadddddddd!!!! ugly as hell...anyways i think you should paint the wheels orange will attract attention

 

what is the legal smallest size number plate you can have? because mine has a crack and be for any 1 says yes i know thats a MOT failure lol but anyway yeah so i need to buy a new 1 but thought i would go for something smart.

sprayed the wheels and mudgard.
cut down the numberplate holder getting rid off the big numberplate light and fitted a small LED one above.
fitted mini arrow black LED indicators
made and applied some orange rim tape with the aprilia racing logo top n bottom.

at last an update from you! dude its coming along so nicely! i love it seeing how it was before

 

Starting to like these sr alot , might have to purchase one , just wondering what's the top end on yours ?

 

same engine as the 2 stroke gilera runner, so should top out about 65ish standard. and good project so far mate, any more future plans for it?
