Problems with speedfight 50

    right. my speedfight will run nice when its cold but as soon as it gets hotter it will splutter and misfire, and then it wont go over 40 very easy. what could this be?

    ive got a tecnigas racepipe. i just put new 6.9 rollers in. but i havent jetted it yet

    that is most probably the issue then. when the engine is cold it compensates from the choke unit.

    how do i fix it then? up jet it?

    I personally have no experience with peugeot's but if i had to say, id say upjet by 10% and go from there, might need to adjust the mixture screw (if its adjustable)

    Again, i dont know speedfight engines , but rollers sound too heavy to me ??

    yeah but when its cold it goes up to 50 easy enough but when it gets hotter it will splutter and misfire then struggle to go over 40

    thinking about this logically, i would say the 1st thing to look at is the choke.

    maybe the choke is stuck on....this is why i run a manual choke, you know where you are with manual chokes :)

    its stopped spluttering since i cleaned the spark plug but it still struggles to get over 40

    and what colour was the spark plug before you cleaned it ?

    i would still say 1st check....choke!
