Problem

When my scooter has been stood for longer than half an hour, it takes more than one push of the electric start to get it to fire up, or a few kicks.

Then i let it warm up for about 5-10 minutes then when it gets going it smokes like fuck and is just a horrible sound, like the exhaust is blowing, no power at all hardly.

Then it spits and splutters and picks up and then runs find after about 2-3 minutes of riding.

Maybe a hole in the pipe? change the plug as well might be the problem if it hasn't been changed in a while

 

Nah the pipes perfect cos after a few minutes it sounds perfect.

its just 2strokes, most of them do. you cant rev a cold engine off the line especially a 2stroke. dont know why they do it but i wouldent worry too much about it mate. just let it run for a bit longer before you take it out
