premixing can i do away wiv the 2 stroke tank???

    not really... need the drive gear on the waterpump so would have to leave that in place, then theres nothing to hold the pump gear in, ive run like this but wouldent advise it as it will wear through drive gears if you let it rub on the oil pump mounting plate (what you leave in to stop the gear falling out completly) if you did want to run premix for peace of mind simply leave it all in place, cut and block up the pipes to the carb, upjet one size and start adding oil to your fuel


    can do away with the lot and run an electric waterpump

    so what pipe do i take off the carb and block up, is it the realy thin clear 1 that leads to crank case???

    yep.... cut it short close to the carb, wind a screw into it (lil dab of silicone helps) remove the rest of the pipe and the other bigger pipe leading to the tranny cover (oil will come out) again, block up or remove the oil tank completly.. will need to remove the oil sender from the tank and plug it back in or the lights wont work

    yeah cheers m8 found that out the other day took the tank out and the oil sender and realised my lights wasnt working properly, so have tie wrapped the sender neatly under the seat.
