PreMix question

    Was thinking of ditching the auto lube on my booster and running it pre-mix. Just wanted to check if its safe to run pre-mix with an autolube carb?

    of course... you just have to block up where the pipe used to come out... if you cut a 1" peice of the old pipe off, melt one end, crimp wiht plires so it all glues together then just slide it back on the carb.

    if i wanted to run premix is that all you have to do or do you need to upjet ect...

    yea just dont forget oil when your putting in petrol loll :thumbsup: no upjetting or nothing :cool:

    wrong....

    if you run premix theres 2% oil in the petrol.. this means the jet is actually getting 2% less fuel so it will run lean. the oil that was added seperatly is now replaced by the fuel carried oil so upjet by 2% (devide your jet size by 100 then times by 102 for an easy calculation on any calculator)

    yea that sounds about right just meant that my bike now and previous one have both run fine on pre mix but then again i changed the carb when i went pre mix ;)
