Hey, wonder if any of you may know how much it might cost to send some of my carbon fibre bits to Italy. They are being sold via eBay and the guy has 230 feedback so he must be ok to deal with right?

yeah sounds trustworthy mate, alldepeds on size and weight though doesent it, just stick another tenner ontop of postage, then stick the bits in an envelope and draw a picture of super mario on the front, should make its way to the right place then.

If the buyer is paying actual postage costs....send it international recorded (£6.50 on top of weighted cost) You then have proof if paypal asks when things go pearshaped

Just to help...international postage is covered in Zones 1,2, and maybe 3

they cover Europe, US and Asia if I remember right.
You just find what zone the countrys in and then weight and then add the extra for recorded

lookin at this...the pricing may have changed slightly since the start of April...but it'll give you a good idea

Cheers fella, I've had a look on there:

International signed for small packet: £10 (1kg)
International signed for small packet: £15 (2kg)

'Small packet' - could fit all the carbon bits in a small bag, it's in the for sale section, you think that will be classed as a small packet even though it will be in a small box?

just make sure you get your money 1st....this italian may be ok, but:

i bought something off a company, a couple of months ago on e-bay, and there was a big notice on this reputable traders site that read:

WE DO NOT SHIP TO ITALY ANYMORE....sorry too many thefts o_O
