hey all, came on to check my last post about my first car.. and its lost or been deleted, which ?! as i wanted to know so i could buy one!!
i read it and loads of peps spamed your post and was arguing... so more then likly its been deleted.... like i said dont get an amazing first car... get a 1.0 - 1.4 vauxhal corsa/astra, ford fiesta/escort your more then likely to reverse into somthing or crash your first car in the first year....a car like that you can buy for under £600 easly..
yeah thats what most people were saying, all you really need is a little run around, thayt your not gonna get suicidal over if you crash, plus you might have money left over to runn a ped
id go abit lower if i were u mate, A. because insurance for a first driver on a 2 litre will be sky high B. because all of that power wont be used unless your drag racing it C. the bigger the engine, the more that could go wrong with it, hence it'll cost alot more to fix
liam... mgs are sick cars but.. as if u can afford one..... £3000 for the car....insurance for a 2.0 mg im wont be suprised if it costs more then the car.... i mean be realistic dude....
i can lock it before they start to save later hassle... ... but that would be boring, argumenta re good, as long as they have structure and arn't abusive, which unfortunately most people don't understand. argue away but any abuse or threats will not be tolerated. still think a good gas guzzling 4x4 is the key to fun though.
not to start a argument or anything but come on mate you got your sights set too high. a 2,0 as a first car will be more or less impossible. you need to buy the car then buy insurance and thats if you can get insured which i doubt my self. why not got a little thing for a year just bang about in it any bumps and crashes wont hurt ur heart then just keep upgrading car every year to something silghtly better. also if you manage to get a 2.0 you will end up modifying something then not telling insurance then have a bump then insurance will be void then theres yur pride and joy fucked with no pay out and probs 5 grand wasted,.
yh understand, just looked at sum old 205's which are sweet nd cheap 1.9's... might get one of those now, yeh i realise, i expect my insurance to be 2k anyway mate so i know what im paying!
omg you are willing to pay 2k for your insurance, your crazy mate, you could buy a nice little car and insure it for half of that
neh mate, thats the average insurance price, between 1k and 2k.. its expensive, im willing to pay that coz its gonna be hard to get insured anyway, i expect my insurance to be the price of my car!
