Hi guys, going to look at an Aprilia MX 50 on sunday. Sort of given up on project NRG:(. Anything to look out for while looking/test riding it? Apparently it's all standard, still restricted, does anyone know where the restriction would be? I Believe it's in the exhaust but i'm not exactly sure where. It's got an AM6 engine.

theyre usually unreliable due to poor maintenance. Run it on decent 2 stroke oil, it'll then smoke less and the bores will have good protection. If its standard you're halfway there as its probably not been messed with by some spotty oink who dont have a clue about what theyre doing.

If its been looked after the pads will have plenty of meat on them, same with the tyres, the chain will be well lubed and adjusted....and it'll have been kept clean....and I dont just mean a blast with a jet wash every other week...the brightwork should proper shine. There are machines out there like that where the owners do actually look after them, after all, its an investment. The better its cared for, the less money you'll lose on resale
