Is there anyone or any place near Doncaster that can port and flow my barrel and cases? And would this be an expensive job? Ive got a gilera runner with a PM Tuning 70cc kit and have seen the power increases available when porting and flowing any 2 stroke scooter engine
hmm... not sure about those up north areas... but psn is in batley west york... tbh, the kit you have can be replaced with something MUCH better for the cost of porting it, pm are shit.. so just replace that with something decent/flow the cases/uprated high comp crank and your away.
cheers Minor, i know pedstop is near me but dont think they do this sort of work, and yeah ive been told pm are shit, but thats what come with the runner. Ill see if i can swap for my mates Malossi kit and ive got a pm full circle crank, are they no good? And how do i flow cases? Is it just making a smooth passage for fuel to run down? Thanks
tbh, if youve got it use it.. most 70's are wider than stock cases so most will line up pretty well cylinder to cylinder aslong as there not crazy wide. if you have to ask, dont do it lol not beginner work. some reason i missed gilera runner and saw your pic... would be happy to do the work if you got it to me
yeah its not something ive ever done before, probably not even got the tools haha, and yeah thats my old ludix,wanted something more tuneable so swapped my iphone 5 for a new shape gilera runner. Think i prefer the old shape though and ive got brand new panels and loads of spares for the old shape haha, and how much does this kind of work cost Minor? and where abouts are you?
