What I'd like, is a portable and secure storage for my bike clothing.

I'm thinking that when it gets to Summer, I'd like to be able to ride to my destination and then remove the jacket and trousers and store them with the bike rather than walk around wearing them all day, or carrying them with me.

Am I living in a dream world?
Am I the only one who wants to do this?
Has anyone actually seen anything like this for sale anywhere?

    Jason.

I've got both, in fact one of the reasons I like the model I bought is that it has quite a lot of under seat storage.

The trouble is that both are full already, the top box is just big enough for the helmet and that's it, and even if the under seat storage were empty, I don't think I'd get trousers and jacket in there.

Wear armoured jeans and a just a tshirt under your bike jacket. Although most people who have scooters don't go fast or far enough to warrant more than a jacket/helmet/gloves although really you can never be safe enough (although you'd look a tool getting off a Honda vision in a power ranger suit for example).

I can only ride a 125 at the moment as I only passed by CBT a couple of months ago.
Though I am seriously considering upgrading to a Smart car at the moment!

Even at 30mph, for every second you're sliding across the road, you wear out an inch of flesh. I don't have that much skin!

Wow thanks Baz, that's a really good suggestion!

I reckon that's exactly what I need, thanks for posting.

    Not an Inch per second.

I came off at 30mph (in normal jeans, bike jacket and gloves) and hurt my pride and bruised my confidence... That was about it although it's always better to be safe than sorry

I came off a mini moto at full speed, it didn't have a speedo but it was pritty fast, I was in normal jeans and a jumper, I only chipped my hip bone and grazed my ass cheek. I wish is would have been an Inch per second cos I was pretty chunky back then.

Well it's a bit of a digression from the thread...

But "sliding" is very different to "bouncing" or "tumbling".
You might have just been very lucky the way you came off and landed.

I came off a push bike when I was kid, took a corner too fast and hit some loose gravel, took the whole side of my face off, I was spitting stones for a week - not a pretty picture!

You never know when you're gonna come off, so it's better to always wear the safety gear on every trip. Fortunately I'm so old now, I don't need to care about looking cool any more.

Anyways, thanks to Baz I have a solution now.

I came off a Virago in Greece in shorts and t shirt, just an open face lid and I was alright, just a little gravel rash but I second your thoughts on protective gear, wouldn't ride with out it now espicaly with the rode quality in UK.
