polishing cases

    how long on average do you think it takes to strip the paint and polish up a case on ur scooter
    also any tips on doing so obviously elbo grease and wet and dry

    depends, done by hand to a really deep shine, you are looking at 5 hours.

    would you say that it gives a better look than just painted say if i polished a couple of other stuff aswell or will paint look better ? i cant decide as obviously paint is easier but polished could look nice if i got the colour scheme right

    polished looks better but takes a lot of work to keep nice

    ill set too soon and see what it looks like if its crap i can always paint it

    Is there anything you can paint over the polished surface to protect it from road dirt etc?

    well prepared and applied lacquer, but gets destroyed by road salt in the winter

    andy would be pointles after you cut that hole in your side case

    what dont you like it ?
    that aids the clutch keeps it alot cooler
