i bought a polini pipe i needed to cut away the a/c cover so i took a bit off but the only problem is the exhaust covers a large part of the intake bit of the cover.
should i still ue this pipe or shall i get another as this would just draw hot air in wouldnt it.
im bit stumped on this so any help would be good
its a a/c tyyphoon engine btw

why does it have to be hard to fit a decnt pipe to a a/c lol
anyways here we go non with the cover on as it isnt modded yet also noticed that it touched the fan a little is it safe to cut the fan down a tad?

Looks like it should be on in terms of how much it's covering of the fan area.

You can't go cutting down the fan though as it will be out of balance. You tried spacing out the bracket using a few clutch/var nuts?

The malossi pipe will be going on an a/c engine but not for a little while.

couldnt i get the fan cut down by someone like shiney red as he could balence it too. im gonna have a play 2moz with a old fan cover and fan and see if i can get it on right.
cant space it out more easily as it already has spacers about a inch long might just bash this on the drag and get a malossi exhaust for the 183 engine. argh pissed of about it £215 for new pipe and it wont fit the intended engine lool

He says it pretty much can't be done as they might shatter. They are far to brittle really.

I'm sure there must be some way of getting it to work.

just cut it down yourself. just do it as accurate as poss

is just a b it of plastic. sure the mould wont have been that accurate.

i woudent worry about balance myself tbh itd a bit of plastic stuck on the end of a flywheel and they aint light so.

your call anyways but theirs my bit lol
