yeah reckon you should feel a vast difference...but you wont be getting the most out that barrel doing it like that...

polini evo2 really needs case work (matching at the least)

    Bigger carb than 21mm...yasuni C20...!!

its not a throw on kit like a sports...needs carefull building...everything checked like ring gap and squish ect ;)

otherwise its gonna end in very expensive tears :wtf:

even a bgm crank would give up after a few thousand miles aswell

these kits can work fine wiht a c16 but the best out of em comes with a c21..
deffo needs case work or it will half the power easily. needs a 25mm minimum really and yes the bgm crank wont like the unreal rpm these kits opperate at. sure are a fuckload of fun once there right tho

with an evo kit you should be running a polini evo crank or smilar, which are pretty costy, you could run it on the bgm, and just hope your mains go before the crank snaps, otherwise it could take the evo top end with it.

but tbh like others said, if your going to tune it, tune it properly, all risks eliminated....also run it on premix, as wit that setup i wouldnt want it all depending on some shitty auto lube. premix is much more reliable

premix is only better till you off the throttle...

im not so sure about the whole premix thing.

people say that when you off the throttle it doesnt recieve oil, but its recieving petrol right? otherwise it wouldnt be combusting still, so if its recieving petrol its recieving oil surely?

when you off the throttle the piston is still drawing air and fuel through the carb, you can feel that if you hold your hand near the filter and rev a bike on the stand, so surely it will recieve oil, though not as much as it would were it running premix?

I always wondered this too.... could it have somethign to do with the fact that the amount of oil entering the cylinder cant be controlled for the amount of throttle like on a standard setup, where the amount of oil is regulated by amount of throttle whereas on premix there is only ever the ratio youve set?

Im really confused with it tbh... please enlighten me lol

well at the end of the day, the ratio in the fuel is what matters on premix, but obviously the rpm determines the oil on an autolube setup.

only think i can think of is that the slide is closed when you off throttle so the oil and fuel is limited, whereas on an autolube the oil inlet on the carb is after the slide, so there will always be the same amount of oil regardless of the slide position.
