so my old 70kit failed the other day, i have no idea on how long its been on there for.. but im guessing ages with the state of the inside aha, so ive just ordered a polini 70 kit, cast iron i just wanted to know, how long will it take to run in and how do i go around doing it because i dont wanna fuck it up many thanks :good:
Generally, cast iron kits are recommended 500 miles, i like to advise to stick to 30mph for the first 200ish. then go up by 5mph for every 100 miles covered then once you've reached the 500 its classed as run in. This is just the way I do iron kits, some people may not agree but it's definitely a safe way of doing it.
