right guys about 5 years ago i was driving an uninsured car with no mot tax licence etc wraped it into someones car (not clever i know) but anyway i went to court got 3 points and 80 pound fine however i never sent my licence off to have the points put on anyway the thing is i onli just sent off for my provisional and its come back today with nothing on it as far as i can, tell the counterpart is spotless do i mention it to insurance or keep hush hush any info would be appreciated cheers
You can get points even if you dont have a licence. It goes on the database so the second you obtain a provisional, the points are carried over. If your counterpart is spotless then the points havent been carried over. Your lucky to only get 3 points for the offence's you committed, normally thats an instant 12 month ban!
yh i know i was lookin at time but my social worker managed to blag it for me im 23 now and to old for all that crap so getting legal now its the best way
After 3 years points don't count towards a ban, and after 5 they don't normally count for insurance purposes. drink driving is a bit different tho I think.
