Hi guys, I have a 1993 skipper 125 2T, AC engine same as typhoon. The shape and frame is very simular to a typhoon. My question is will a PM59 bolt straight on? On various websites they dont sell the 59 under my bikes name, or a typhoon. But the 59 comes up if I search for runner/drag pipes. Which makes me think its not a bolt on exhaust for my bike?? Can anyone tell me what pipes would bolt straight on?
you may have to modify part of your frame a bit you will only be able to tell when you fit it but i definatly be able to fit
The TDR exhaust fit`s the Typhoons so assuming the mount on the Skipper is similar it should be a bolt-on fit.
Ah ok thanks, Im pretty sure the skipper frame is a typhoon shape frame, probably not 100% identical but the rear end is very typhoon shape, same rear panels and service panel as the typhoon, very simular inner panels too but the front is totally different. By looking at pics of 125 typhs the exhaust mounts look identical to my skippers exhaust. So the 59 "should" fit then yea? *fingers crossed*
pm fitted on my typhoon fine when i had one, so if the back ends the same i shudnt see why not? at the most youd need to cut the fan cover abit, if it is the same as a typhoon it will be abit fidgity to get on the stub but it will go on.
I recently asked PMtuning the same question (for my Skipper 150 2T) and they told me PM52 was their direct fit replacement. More than likely it's the same for Skipper 125 2T - but email them first before spending yer money.
