hello, i have been offered a pm52 exhaust system, will it make much more of an improvment then my standard exhaust on the bike atm? i read on the website its bolt on power?
also i would like a 25mm carb but would like to keep the standard air box? is that ok to door do i need to run a open air filter with the carb?
thanks for the responces guys

if its a 172 the 52 will make a nice improvement , dunno about 125 as ive never put a pipe on one.. and yeah you can use youre airbox with a 25mm but may need to change the rubber link tube from carb to box

ive found the 52's to be the opposit of pm's usual pipes... they dont break as often yet dont perform all that well... id have a stock runner pipe over a 52 any day.

25 will work wiht an airbox.. fits in the airbox rubber fine, need to shorten it usually and change the inlet as there a little tight on the 25. it will fit but its not perfect.

ok going to stick with the stock runner pipe then and the airbox with the 25mm, just want to make sure that the performance will be the same with the 25mm if i use an air box or a filter? if the filter will make it better i will use an air filter?

try it both ways and find out.... just remember open filters dont like rain.. but more performance but lots more fuel used.. ether will work. the 125 box is HARDLY restrictive afterall...filter area is LARGER than any malossi filter afterall...
