i cant see how they work if they sit in the groove flush ?????????????? mines always going and the pm engine i had they sealed with gasket sealer (admitting it dont work ).
the piaggio gasket wont fit in the pm head unless you inlarge the inside dia of the o ring groove on the pm head by machining it.
then you can fit the piaggio one which sits .3mm proud of the head face thus acting like a o ring not a useless bit of orange rubber

oh, so you have to machine it :pale:

i wanna do that to mine because youre right, the pm one doesnt even make a good seal.

how much? and whats the quickest you would be able to do it?

Machined a PM head after reading this on another forum. In Australia I went to a bearing specialist and bought ten Viton 1.8mm O-rings the right size (almost the right size, just a very slight stretch to get in the groove which does not effect them) for the equivalent of about one UK pound each. Thanks Shiny.
