I have a Peugeot speedfight 3E AC 2011 and there seems to be a large problem with it. It all started last month on my way back from work when the moped started choking and spitting out of the exhaust, next it died on me and wouldn't start for a while. When I eventually got it started, now and again it would loose power at full throttle and when it slowed down and when the revs reachec bellow 6000rpm it would speed up again. I rode it for a week and nothing changed so I took it to a garage where they diagnosed that the piston was broken so I replaced the head gasket cylinder and piston also I replaced the spark plug and spark plug cable along with a new carb and air filter and the problem is still there not only this but it now dies at red lights. Some please help me I will be very greatful as this moped is my pride and joy.
Had a similar problem a few years ago, turned out there was fuel in the crank case. Take off the exhaust from the cylinder and see if you get any drips draining out. Or take off the cylinder and try have a look through whilst rocking the bike. Might hear some sloshing. I had to remove my engine and turn it upside down to drain it all out. Wasn't much but enough to cause problems you have.
Thank you for the replay much appreciated I will try it as soon as I have time and hopefully that will be the problem
