I have a suzuki rg 125, I fitted a new expansion chamber, cylinder has been ported slightly, I have fitted a slightly bigger jet in it, runs fairly nice, however, after a slightly longer ride, say around 45 mins, bike starts sputtering, take the plug out and it is covered in oil. I fitted a new piston kit when the barrel was off; why would it do this? Cheers

when hot only? sounds like the oil pump is jammed open. could be any deal of things.. rich jetting (does it need choke to start) reset the idle mix too. will need it for a diff pipe. mabey a diff pilot jet/needle

starts fairly good when the plug is clean and takes about 30 mins-45 mins before it clogs; even clogged up when I was going flat out which seems strange; thinking maybe it;s a bit rich as the plug is dark brown, doesnt have a pilot jet (blanked off when I bought it); choke cable adjuster is snapped off at carb so going to put on a new one as thinking maybe this isnt helping matters; mate had a little play with the mixture as it was bogging lower down the rev range (hence thinking the jetting may be a bit out); pulls well at the top tho. Mixture adjustment helped a little. Then going to try and get jetting perfect, then will investigate oil pump, thanks
