im not a fan of these chinese pit bikes, lots of fun but not built so well, do you know what tyres your changing it to? are you keeping spoked wheels and tubes or are you going tubeless? bet it sounds good with that pipe.

unfortunately this bike is chinese but the company i baught it from is based in the uk 'stomp racing' and they say these are quality built bikes, i wanna get it road legal so ill have two setups, supermoto and mx. im going with spoked wheels, 12" black rims and red cnc hubs with the best tires available (tubeless) and mx ill fit michelin starcross front n back 12" 14", yh it sounds awesome ill post a youtube vid when i get time.

If you want some crash bobbins for the axles, skateboard wheels work really well with some threaded rod going throught the axle (if theyre hollow)

yeah crashbobbins out of skateboard wheels is awesome. pilotsports are good tyres if you can get them in that size. the chinese bikes have gotten better, but still not great, when you do your wheels, fit some seals between the bearings and the axle if you can, will make things last that little bit longer, or maybe use skf bearings if they are available in uk

Looks abit small to get on the road, will cost you alot to get it road registered :/

to be honest iv give up on making it road legal, iv tuned it and baught afew diffrent sprocket setups, im not happy with the top speed @ around 50mph. im focusing on my scooter build (183 MALOSSI molested speedfight) and ill keep the pitbike as a field bike.

its a big pitbike, i dont need to bend down to sit onit, its a crf70 size alot bigger than the old crf50 minibike. not hard to make road legal its just more time than effort costing around £200 all together. all you need is a number plate and a bell for daytime use and obviously road tyres and a legal exhaust

my sons just bought a stomp 110 for the field. It cost him £150 but needed the usual attention...stretched chain, new pads, bolts replacing etc.

Half the battle is repairing bits that previous ham-fisted owners have done or not done correctly...like filling the rear brake res with engine oil

The stomp has not been bought for anything serious just a bit of a piss about with mates. Now its all done, it goes well and its really robust...taking everything thats thrown at it

thats why i baught mine new there are too many monkeys with spanners out there and iv seen it all, fence bolts holding in engines bits of string clamping on pipes rounded bolts with slits cut out of them to fit a screwdriver:confused:

pitbikes are a good laugh and there reliable if you treat them rite the worst thing is the back wheels tend to fall apart quickly but if you keep on it and tighten the spokes its all gooood.

Heres a little video, i know its abit naughty riding up the road but it was a one off.
and it always backfires when its cold.. sounds awesome:cool:

Very nice pitbike mate, looks quick aswell for a chinese one, ive heard of stomp before theyre not the best but they are good quality engines compared to the rest. Sounds and looks ace though!

cheers mate and welsh pit bike is owned by stomp racing they used to build there bikes in the uk but now there all imported from china, there nothing like the old scrap £200 pitbikes the chinese used to make them things were dangerous, there well built and have a good reputation for reliability they are assembled in the uk and fitted with afew extras at stomp to make them there own brand.
