My Suzuki Ap50, is now making a rattling noise and is losing power (Again)

I think its a piston ring, anyone know how hard it is to change it, and are they expensive

Or if this is even the problem?

    Thanks :p

if it is the piston rings, they arnt that exensive mate, maximum say around 20 quid. they are usually pretty easy to fit too.

Best way to check rings is to do a compression test on your cylinder. If the PSI is good and hold, then the rings are fine and the rattling is somewhere else.
Typically if you have rattling, and the scooter starts, then it isn't the rings because in order for the rings to be worn enough to allow the piston to slap the side of the cylinder, you will essencially soft sieze your motor. The thing wouldn't even start. My guess is the rattling is coming from somewhere else. But always good to do a compression test and verify.
