Pipe on idle after paint

    I painted my pipe at 6 has been drying since 7 and am leaving it over night in shed when i fit it tmoz do i have to leave it on idle or anything ?

    Not really necessary tbh. Won't do any harm I suppose but putting it over the radiator over night or something will probably do a better job curing it and save fuel. I'd vote for taking it out for a quick early morning blast over both of these but either way it will be pretty dry in 18hrs it's only vht..

    I've found it depends on the paint. Some shitty paint loves to never dry unless it's been heated up so it's best to give it a good blow with a hot air gun otherwise you will just fuck the paint up fitting it.

    Yh i used halfords paint its not the best, can i use a hair dryer lool dont have an air gun

    Ive used halfords vht paint on my exhaust before and left it over night in warmest room in the house and it was dry in the morning :)

    mine was left in a shed shall i blow dry it with hair dryer lol
