Well I got this Zip yesterday and thought I'd put a project up so I can try and keep some sort of a log as it'd be nice to look back on. There's a few crappy pictures with info:

Well she started out like this early afternoon:

    Soon looked like this:

I see you baldy brother! :D
    [IMG]

    Exhaust bracket has snapped :(
    [IMG]

    Ooo.. Flaky!

Took delivery today! :mail: Was laid in bed and all I heard was "MATT YA BITS ARE ERE" so ran downstairs and got dressed at the door then opened it haha.

    Quick, get my good side..

Well there's been a lot going on, friend came around earlier and seeing as I didn't have my engine (It's still being welded) so we decided to have some fun.

    Well the typh got naked

    Ooooo :)

    Fits like a glove
    [IMG]

Now which one was it again...

    She's in.. And she's running!

Well it's the most important update but nothing really to look at, she's done! :yahoo: She looks a shed and I'm well aware there's a lot yet to be done however my main concern (The engine) is in. All lights are working, horn, indicators etc and original wheel is on. Was finished last night but as I'd been drinking in the day I didn't really fancy chancing it so took it out this morning and it feels great! Had around 70 out of it, gets there quick and is lovely to ride. Couple of pictures:

Small update as of 22/04/11 I've fitted my side stand and jack up kit - lovely to have a stand and the jack up kit has made an incredible difference! However after looking at it I decided that it's going to be a while being 172 is considered and I don't want it looking how it does so we got a little paint! Back panel is being done tomorrow, front one currently looks like this:

I think it kind of looks like a funky alien!

Very small update wheels are done:

All sprayed up and exhaust is fitted! Need different rollers as the top ends rubbish at the minute. Pissed off as mate borrowed it and bought it back with a cracked nose and scraped.. So that's going to be redone, waiting on stickers and numberplate at the minute.

Will pop up a few others when properly finished - if I get that far! :good:

I'd bite their hand off if it's 2 stroke kyle! You can find a front Sp panel for not a huge amount and straight away it makes it look a lot better. :)

Quite a large update :D Malossi 70 cast iron kit will be up for sale soon as I'm on the look for a 125 exhaust (preferably scorpion) and maybe a carb.

Must admit being a fan of Zips it's something I've wanted to do but never really bothered, I've been lucky enough to be given the opportunity to and I love it! :D 172 Will be coming up soon but just going to enjoy being back out on the road. :)

u need to grind the mounts down to fit the engine then u have to adapt a typhoon 125 loom to work on the zip
